Pure Lithium Metal Clean Technology
YONKERS, N.Y. September 15, 2017 – alpha-En Corporation (OTC: ALPE), an innovative clean technology company that has developed a patent pending process to produce high purity thin film lithium metal anodes and associated products sustainably, announced today an award of $750,000 from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Technology Transition Technology Commercialization Fund (TCF).
alpha-En Corp has developed a patented process for the production of pure lithium metal and associated products produced at room temperature. alpha-En’s electrodeposition method produces thin films of highly pure lithium on a myriad of substrates. We believe that our lithium metal anodes will be an enabling technology for next-generation batteries.
